Welcome back, nature enthusiasts and adventurers! As summer approaches, we know many of you are eagerly anticipating the blooming of the Trophy Flower Meadow. Here’s the latest update on the trail and the bloom conditions to help you plan your visit.

Trail and Access Road Conditions

Access Road: The access road leading to the trailhead is in decent condition. While you might encounter a few typical forest road rough spots, there’s no active hauling happening, making your drive smoother and safer.

Parking Lot: The trailhead parking lot is in excellent shape, thanks to the upgrades completed last year. Equipped with a pit toilet and information board. Whether you’re driving a small car or a larger vehicle, you’ll find ample, well-maintained parking space.

Trail Conditions

Lower Aspect of the Trail: The lower section of the trail into the meadows is in good condition. Hikers can expect a pleasant walk with few obstacles. The upgraded bridges have made the walk very enjoyable.

Upper Trail: As you ascend towards the meadows, be prepared for some snow spots. These snow patches increase in frequency and depth as you climb higher. The meadows themselves are still under varying levels of snow, with depths reaching up to 100cm in some areas.

Bloom Conditions and Weather Forecast

While we all look forward to the vibrant display of flowers in the Trophy Flower Meadow, the heavy snow cover means the blooms are still tucked away beneath their winter blanket. While there is a few glacier lily’s blooming in the lower meadows, the main meadows are still waiting for warmer weather.
